I'v asked this Question before and i'm sure a few of you have askked the same thing....What is the Ideal Ph level for water (after the ferts. have been added) and before you add (feed) It too your plants?? I was told (on here) that 6.0 to 6.2 was the ideal (right) level to be at( for your water,NOT the soil) BUT i think at those levels my girls were not getting all the food i was giving them. growth seemed slow and they seemed to have lost there smell (oh that sweet smell) Now ask and actualy got a "few" different answers, what to do, what to do?? I went with what sounded right, 6.0-6.2. This didnt seem to help the girls. I've since up'ed it to 6.5-6.6 going in (ferts added) and getting a run-off of 6.2-6.3 much better, BUT IS THIS RIGHT????? IS THERE AN IDEAL PH.????? (for water, ferts.) in a soil grow. i'm including some pic's but dont let the pic's foul you, although they look great, it's been a lot of trial and erra. Their in the 4th week of flowering and i dont want to Fuck this up now. or on my next grow, this was my first grow, i'm new at this. I just used some bag seeds i had lying around the house.

Your plants look good man. I don't concern myself with water Ph but rather with soil Ph as that is what your plants are going to be affected by. It is my understanding that Cannabis is best able to assimilate nutrients when soil Ph is above 6 and below 7, so I don't worry too much as long as Ph falls within that range. If Ph gets too close to 6, I flush with straight water. If it creeps towards 7, I increase my nutes and Ph falls back into acceptable range. I should mention that I grow using 100% organic compost teas, and have found it very easy to maintain acceptable Ph levels. Also, ignore the fools who think plants should grow on some sort of time schedule. The only reason time becomes an issue is when profit is your only motivation. If your motivation is high quality, and healthy plants, then you let the plants establish the time line, and finish on their own schedule.

Thanks for that reply, helpful, But wats a good way to test the soil Ph?? I had bought one of those 3 in 1 $10 testers, light,ph,moist, meters and i think its junk!! i bought a digetal Ph meter$40.00 much better but thats only for water, right??? How would i test the soil?? can i use the same meter?? I test the runoff after watering and its reading 6.2-6.3, is this ok?? I used shitty soil on this grow, beginners mistake. Next grow i have FFOC all ready for new grow and ive heard that Ph'ed right for cannabis so i thought that all I would have to do is keep my water Ph in check.
