why does my ph go back up in my already ph nite solution after sitting overnight or for a day? How long will my mixed Nutes be okay to sit without weakening or ph going up?

It depends on the nutrients you're using. Some are more pH stable than others. I can mix up 10 gallons of nutes and the pH doesn't change in the week it takes to use them up. Do you have something to keep them circulating? A small pond pump is better than airstones. But some nutes just don't stay stable.

You understand tap water has an ionization point at around 4.2ph and thqt before this generally its a weak carbonate buffer to the alkaline side.

Ph is a simplistic log. number, it really fails to describe the complex chemistry at play.

Don't know, but I think it might be somewhat due to exposure to the air.
Lesson I learned was to check ph (at lest)daily.
