Ph in coco grow

Hii

So I had found a seed in one of my bags and decided i'd give it a try. To my surprise it germinated and I had coco coir sitting around from a different grow.

In the beginning it went okay, near the ending of the seedling stage I started having nutrient issues(using fox farms 6-4-4 1/2 tea spoon max) so I went and bought a mechanical 3-1 ph tester as I could not find a digital one anywhere in my city. When tested I found out my towns tap water was almost 8 ph! How terrible.
So I bought General hydroponics ph down. However even with adjusting the water it seems to rise in ph back to normal over a couple hours. The plant grows quite a lot when watered but quickly slows down during the day.

Should I be hand watering it 3-4x day with ph adjusted water or when I transplant next should I change to soil instead?

Need some ca mg to fix that coco. Pretty sure you are nute locked from high PH. (Test the soil not the run off if possible.)

When setting up water how long do you test it/ let it sit before putting on plant? It takes me about 30-45 minutes to set up water for watering. Adjusting PH and dissolving ferts and getting good reads on the water.

Most cities have local water reports published somewhere that gives rough look at local water variables.

IDK man that's all I got for you atm, your post seems odd anyway.

I adjust between 5.6-6.4 with GH Ph down. Usually only takes me 5-10 mins max to do everything and let the tester sit in the water for at least 1 minute.
The plant grows fine without calmag. Has no rust spots etc.
