Ph impossible to bring damn down !!!

Hello everybody ! I already made several indoor-outdoor grows without having ph problems, always used universal soil ph-ing water with no broblems. This time i used canna terra professional which i expected to be far better than what i used b4...WRONG ! I used phd tap water as usual for the veg phase, but near three weeks in veg noticed strange yellowing of lower leaves and contorsion of the uppers...First thing checked runoff ph...7.8 wtf ??? after that i repotted the plant and definetly switched to RO water (always phd), same result...the only way i have to lower is to make a super flush to bring the runoff ec to 0.5 and then the soil seems more reactive and i can lower to about 6.7 with human quantities of ph-down...obviously when the ec restart to rise because of the fertilizers used, the ph does the same and now even if i use half bottle of ph down ther's no way to lower it...I'm 3 weeks flower and really pissed and i have no intention to restart another flush...

Moreover i have two pepper plants outside, one in the old univ. soil and another in this fucking canna terra shit, same nutes for both, checked runoff, the first 6.5 the second 7.4...
I really hope someone can give a hand bcause i really cant figure out what the heck i'm doin wrong and why the ph-down isnt working at all...:wall:

Nutes:
Bio canna vega (veg)
Floranova bloom (flo)

Ph-down:
Ghe

Tap water characteristics:
ec 0.9
French degrees 15
we have a softener so i suppose that the tap-w will be very rich of sodium and potassium...

Change soil - i use biobizz all mix with no problems, some soils have slow release nutes which fucks with the pH. The pH of what is going in doesnt really matter as long as there is a buffer in the soil like dolomite lime.

Damn that really sucks man, i thought that was a buffer problem but the dolomite lime buffers at 7 cos its neutral, my runoff constantly rises to 8ph, i really dont know what the hell they put in this soil but they lost a costumer for sure, its a shame...

I only have a ph-meter, so i generally measure the input and the output and extimate the soil ph. However today washed with pure RO water, and the runoff with pure ro is the exact ph of the soil, which was 7.2...somehow i managed to bring it to 6.9 again with the ph-down after the flush, but i doubt it will last...Today i also emailed canna for some explanation...

What kinda costume do ya wear? LOL
Sorry, J/K
If you can get some reg. unsoftened water, like from garden hose, try PH'ing it to around 6.5 with regular White distilled vinegar from the kitchen.
I use 1 capful per liter to bring mine down from 7.8 to about 6.6-6.8
Do that for a couple waterings, making sure you get plenty of runoff each time.

I wouldn't worry too much about what your runoff PH is unless you start seeing some signs of lockout.

Ok thaks i will try also with vinegar and refer the results, but first i will change my costume !

Let's wait for 'retiredmattthebrute' to chime in here, hopefully he will.
He and I had a good discussion about PH last night, and I would like for you to get his input as well.
Harley? Chris? Obijohn? anybody? LIL' help here?
