Ph Help!

Hey guys,

I just started my plants on their first nutes today and I was wondering about my ph. I lost my ph paper and can't afford anything for the next week... For the first two weeks my ph was super high from 6.5.-7.6 and my four plants in my bubbleponics are about two inches tall all on their second set of leaves which are still tiny...

It seems as though they haven't grown in a week. The one plant I had in soil is on it's fourth set of leaves.... It's about 6 inchs and looking great. It's growing about 5 times as fast as the four in the bubbleponics.

I'm using a 13 gallons of water in my resivoir... and I wanted to start the nutes super light so I put 30 mls of flora micro and 60 mls of flora bloom. I also added 3 mls of ph down.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows if my ph is in an ok range as I don't have a monitor. I'm using tap water which is about 7.6. Thanks.

at your local hydro store you can get a tester kit for like 3 bucks. 3mls to 15 gallons of water is not doing anything its going to take like 30 mls to ph that much water and thats if your nutrient doesnt raise or drop your ph. I would go get the tester for like 3 or 5 bucks. but I would rather have my ph a little on the low side than high

Hi there. Okay fro your PH you want to keep it at around 6.0 to 6.5 in hydroponics for vegetative and about 5.8- 6.0 for flowering, soil is a lil higher. You can get a PH tester kit from a hydro store locally for around 8-12 bux. I keep my ph at about 6.2 and I'm in soilless medium, good luck! ~ ur BCbuddy

The problem is I don't have a hydroponic store within 600 miles of me. Online is only option and take atleast 7 days. I believe the GH nutrients added will lower the ph quite a bit however I'm not positive how much.

I would order that shit soon. I know for your soil plant when there young you water them 1 a week or even a week and a half is how long it usually takes a young plant to suck up. so your gud on the soil plant just water it one time and your order should be there. but damn bro the hydro you probably water 2 3 times a day? and if your ph isnt on point you can run into hella problems
