Ph dropping.

It's doing it fairly consistently.. I'm assuming not enough nutrients??? I'm running a dwc with general hydroponics flora.
I'll check ph, one day it's 6.0. Two days later it's 4.0. Halppppp

gh flora exp dtw.jpg
1050 ppm. 2.0 ec, using flora micro, gro, bloom, and hydroguard
How old are they? 1050 is kinda up there. That's usually where I am after flip to flower. Are you using tap water? It could be something evaporating off. When I used ro/di water is very often didn't need to pH down and if I did it was just a tiny bit in a 25 gallon res. But in all the years I've used gh I've never had my pH swing down instead of up. Are you following their recirculating feed chart?
Of these I only ever used the 3 part and Cal mag and floralicious plus. And dialed it back probably 25 to 50 percent depending. I go into mixing with an end ppm in mind. Also they assume you use distilled water so any starting ppm isnt accounted for
Edit this delete the dtw chart and add the right one

a little ph drift is to be expected. Droping that low is usually a sign of trouble. Be on the look out for root rot. In the end though your plants are the biggest tell. If they are happy then dont worry to much
They seem happy. I've read if your plants eat a BUNCH fast, it can cause the ph to drop, I'm hoping that's the case

I thought if your plants where eating the ph would climb and the ppm would drop?

If your ph is droping but your ppm is steady there is an issue i believe.

Thats a high ppm (for me) but if the plants look happy and the roots look good

Try this next batch you mix try not to ph it for at least an hour i wait till the next day sometimes.

This gives any of the ph buffers time to do their thing. Then you adjust the ph.

Some say to ph your water to 6 first before you add your nutes ... ive only teied this once and i didnt notice a big difference to try it twice lol

But i find if you give the nutes a little time then ph it can stay stable longer.

I get what your saying about big hungry plants that are eating so much they are dumping acids backninto fhe res faster then they can be assimilated

If that where the case i would just dump a little outa the res and top it off with regular water.

Until you have replace the original volume of nutrients then you do a full swap

i only ph down before mixing if im using silica which acts as a ph up but dosnt mix well in water under 4 or over 8 ph

Roots are gorgeous.. they are eating a ton. I don't understand the ph dropping..
