I'm also using Miracle Grow potting mix. I planted them in 5x5 square pots. I use 1 gallon milk jugs for just about everything, from just H2O to mixing my grow, veg and bloom chemicals. My secret with Miracle Grow? I use about 5-6 drops of General Hydroponics PH-Down per gallon of H2O. I check the ph level after I mix it in, then I check the ph level of the run-off water. Its more trial-and-error. At least it has been for me in the past, but I haven't really changed any of my methods in the past 10 years. Good Luck! I hope you have the same results I've had!
