PGR messed Wup big time, need help

I’ll admit it, I tried a pgr and while it did work very good it’s now caused a problem. Residual hormones are effecting my next crop. Lesson learned, never use it again but now what can I do?

I just started another room twice the size of the last one so I needed quite a bit of moms. Well they were reported in those pots instead of cubes.... long story.... anyways, all my old moms were cut down as they were way too big. Long story short I have a lot of retarded plants, about 10-20% look normal now, 50-60% are really coming around compared to the 20-40% that are still fucked up.

They’ve been in these pots now for a month. They usually stay in pots for 3 weeks before flip. Just an example. But they look like they won’t come around for another 3-4 weeks at this rate if I’m lucky.

Now normally I would just pitch any plant that gives me issues but I can’t restart from scratch with this brand new facility and old facility. And the overhead from running the lights, etc....is eating a giant whole in my pocket....

So what are the options here ?

Wait it out, drench with 6.0 water and get the giant dehumidifier going and burners on to help evaporation?

Report into new coco? Deal with stunt and ph flux. But they have rooted decently.

Or I read an article To spray once with GA3. Which is probably the last thing I wanna do at this point especially because I don’t have the knowledge and I don’t wanna assume that a study was done on one genesis of plant and that will be the same on another .

They claim that the Gabberlin (GA3), When sprayed on intentionally dwarfed plants returned them to their normal size. But if sprayed on a normal plant it will stretch into a giant.

Like I said that is the last thing that I want to do is complicate the situation anymore. I would prefer to just wait it out another month But I don’t even know if these hormones are water-soluble .

Again I know I fucked up and I don’t need to hear about how bad the PGR are. I know I know. I promise you.

Any positive advice From you guys would be greatly appreciated.

For now I’ll just keep flushing and hope for the best.

Thanks guys

Takes years for pgr to get out of coco/soil.
Best bet would be repotting in fresh coco.
Prob best to clean roots before the transplant. It will still take a month or longer to get normal growth.

Yes I was reading that it was systematic meaning it doesn’t flush out so easily.

I got some clones That were never tainted with this PGR bs but it’ll put me about two or three months behind schedule.

I was thinking my only choice is to keep those and flower the retards and see what happens.

I was told I could give the a foliage spray of gibberlin (GA3) when I flip to 12/12.

I hate the idea of it but I read in a controlled study that it works.

I have no choice but to Flower them out.

They’re growing but the structure Is so different, super tight nodes. They look healthy tho.

I’ll get pics tomorrow

Thanks man

Any other input is greatly appreciated

Flower the tards n keep w your schedule.
Watch for herms. Ga3 causes male flowers too i believe.
Lesson learned.

That’s what I’m going to do.... lesson learned....

Except I’m an idiot so I’m going to apply a single dose of ga3 at low ppm on flip day.

I know what your gonna say, didn’t i learn the first time, yes I did but I read several papers lately that said...

“Intentionally dwarfed plants return to normal structure after just one GA3 foliar application. Putting it on a regular plant will create a giant...” certain ppm will create male flowers... “ blah blah

I just hope I get a little more stretch.

Luckily my new spot will have none of this shit ever.... I took enough cuts to get by and reestablished but months of time and bills on top of a new build has me stretched thin, I usually get 1.5 per light without trying at all.

My strains very strong, never had one like, best commercial I’ve found and I’ve went through several dozens of strains.

I am curious to see how it works with the PGR being systematic and still in the Coco.

I’m gonna not spray a light or two And see how it goes when compared.

Again to anyone reading this please do not try this at home and please do not use PGRs. It’s not worth the 20% gain even though yield is king.

I’ll let you know results n post pics

Yeah I decided not to use any GA3.

However I did turn the lights down all the way and I raise them up about 6 feet from the canopy, over the last seven days it seemed to help a lot with the structure.

Don’t get me wrong I like but the PGR did for my #. Finally two a light but this hiccup was not worth it . The problem is is I reuse Coco/perlite. I just didn’t know any better now I do.

My new set up is all Rockwool cubes on dripper’s so if I decide to use up the 2 liters I have left it would be ok.

Smfh, I had to learn the hard way I guess.

hi, are you still using the MaxiGrow grow/bloom formula's? im thinking about trying it out thanks

Yes, works great. Ph balanced. I feed veg at 600 ppm maxi gro. Flower at 900ppm every watering . Flush last 10 days. Minimal salt buildup
