pgr experimenting

Hi all so I've been growing for 6 years with a around 10 grows under my belt in soil under 600 HP's..so lately I've been thinking of doing a side by side grow of nutrients vs nutrients and a Pgr a buddy gave me it's cycle part b chlormeque he claims it gave him rock hard buds under the same condition strain medium and lighting as my self..this plant will not be smoked only dryed and weighed!..dose any body have any info on chlormeque best time to use etc etc...looking forward to growing a rock hard bud even if it is only for looking hahaha

Mmmm, Chlormequat chloride. This can be delivered by root drench or as a foliar. The problem I have is that in greenhouse applications. When used to shorten plants beyond any point in bloom after the stretch. They actually decrease flowering size, and can cause a phytotoxicity situation that persists (yellowing of the leaves - great care must be given in concentrations used by foliar).
Many PGR's have been removed from MM applications.
Mainly used at 2-5 weeks from germination to reduce plant growth and keep the fast growth short. When running a greenhouse we used this on Poinsettia's to offset the stretch by using as a foiliar when the plant began the transition to flower. Old notes say we used 650ppm as the concentration applied. This would stop the "stretch" and be active for around 2-3 weeks, The non-treated would add about 40-60% more overall height by market time!

I don't use any PGR and don't understand your even playing with it!
It's toxic! It's use is banned in consumables and has been removed from past supplements sold for use in growing MM!
It is sold only to the ornamental market!

I have strong reservations that you will, in someway, use the resulting product for market - I've never known anyone in over 40 years of growing to grow MM and not use it!
If you do think this will be the ticket to smaller plants and bigger yields....Your looking to the wrong thing to make a shortcut for you.

I think the hard/dense budding is due to something else.....Anyway, any use in flower can reduce flower size......Use in veg - like I listed will reduce plant size and increase stem width. It inhibits the action of gibberellic acid.

You want denser buds - increase your light intensity and control temps/environmental aspects better. Helps keep plants shorter too. You should learn better topping and training technique.

There's enough info

Thanks for the great info dr who...I will clarify again that this plant is not for smoking and I don't sell it's simply doing some thing to see a side by side comparison and a bit of fun with a mate who thinks it's the bomb..it's amazing how much conflicting info is out there when it comes to pgr's...some say hard buds some say less bud some say use in veg some say use as a drench at week 3_5 of flower..that's why I'm interested..I live a boring life lol..

Budman111 sorry didn't see u there champ..yes all the research I've done state pgrs are bad stuff..paclobutrozol was that the same stuff that was in bush master?...

And in few other well rather well known products too.

If I recall, Dutch Masters and Humboldt had a product removed also.
Goes to show you how much a nutrient maker really "cares" about you!

Old thread I see but serious question… how come when ever there is a thread like this someone’s asks a simple question and everybody shows up with a personal opinion?

Thing is though nobody cares about your personal opinion you guys need to learn how to just shut the fuck up sometimes seriously.

90% of these threads are filled with these bullshit responses about what people would never do and their ethics.

Answer the fucking question or shut your ass up and keep scrolling it’s super simple.

The admins here should check out the layout on a site called stack overflow for programming. You aren’t allowed to answer any questions with any kind of opinions it’s straight answers or nothing. It would eliminate 90% of these jack offs who respond to threads like this.

Think you’re better off on the seed bank thread lol.

It’s actually funny you’ve resurrected this thread because now we all know about naturally occurring PGR’s cytokinins, triacantonol, Giberelins etc.

so messing with synthetic PGR’s is just bad.

and from your ramblings i take it you are using them lol.

you did the exact same thing that you pointed the finger at to @Dr. Who

You chimed in with your opinion and 5 paragraphs of utter shite lol.

Well played for calling yourself out too lol.
