ok i have a general ? fpr all growers, what do u all know about the new pg&e smart meter? my bill has doubled in the last month and i done nothing different. i hate that thing

I also have the PG&E Smart Meter and have not noticed a difference. I prefer it to the older meter because it doesnt require a worker coming to check it anymore.
Since I live way out in the country and all my visitors (very few of them) are blind folded before being brought to my home I dont do anything to conceal the smell of my grow. Thats one less person I have to worry about finding out.

the fact that they dont have to come out anymore is definitely a plus , also guys did u know that pg&e gets readings every hr now? hmm, some people may want to balance there consumption out so as not to raise any flags.

They gave me one when I called them out to check out my line about 6 months ago. Works great and I'm so happy no more meter readers will be coming by.
My bill went up but I added more lights too, so can't say if that made a difference.
They can use it to bill higher during peak hours if they choose too, not sure if they are or not it might depend on what plan you are on.
