Perpetual harvest ideas needed

Just finished up up my first grow after a 10+ year break lol. Not bad for 11 different strains at about a pound yield dry, could have been better but I had so many plants crammed in my tent that light wasn't sufficient.

Ok, after searching and reading a lot of threads across different forums it's been hard to drill down exactly what I need per my specs, so I want to ask for specific advice for what I have.

Equipment:

2 - 4x4x7 tents
1 - Available closet space measuring 2 feet deep x 5 feet wide, height is more than ample
1 - 600w Lumatek Digi ballast
1 - Hydrofarm Radiant 6 air cooled hood, w/Hortilux Eye HPS and and Digilux MH bulbs available
3 - Blackstar 240uv LED lights
1 - 2 foot 4 bulb T5

* Can add a 4 foot 4 bulb T5 if needed

And all basic parts of grow including fans, filters...etc

Temps and Atmosphere:

I'm in one of the states that's pretty nice in winter and spring but once summer starts it's 100+ on a daily basis

Grow Medium:

Canna Coco - In 2 gal smart pots

Nutes:

Canna Coco A/B
GH CalMag
FF Solubles trio
Orca

Basic outline of set-up:

Wanting an area for clones/mothers ---> Veg ---> Flower. Haven't tried scrog and prolly won't either, I know it produces good results but I'm not inclined to try anytime soon. Perhaps sog though.

Any ideas are welcome based on the specs I provided. Thanks!

My general plan is to find and keep about 6-8 good mothers/phenos for the closet grow and a couple trays of clones. With the equipment I have I'd like to get a better idea as to how many clones I can run without sacrificing lumens/par. When I had a 11 plants in a 4x4x7, the plants on the edges didn't seem to get enough light.

Save your moms for one flower cycle full veg. Take asshats of clones little or no veg. before flower pick a mom. Flower 8ish wk old mom clone trimmings at 21 days or so. Repeat

So instead of keeping an area for dedicated moms, ur saying to just take clones off her before flower, get the clones to root then just flower out the mom?

What's the advantage of this method? I would ultimately like to keep 6-8 moms around permanently to have a strains at my disposal.

Yes basically rooted clone is mom w/o loss of real estate. Depends on avail space, electric consumption, desire for large numbers etc. I also keep clones cold, low light if necessary until I want to use keeps em manageable. I think keeping alive longer than natural also opens door to pests.

I just got my perpetual on track this grow. Here is my set-up.

I have a clone/seedling/early veg room only 2x4x3high with T5s. Next room is main veg at 55x55"x6'high with a single 600 watt MH.
I can pack four 5 gallon fabrics and one 7 gallon fabric smart pot in there. In the smaller clone/veg room I can keep 6-12 plants going in smaller pots for up to 60 days if I wanted to keeping them short, but on average half the clones/seedlings stay in there about 25-30 days, then 5 are transplanted into final pots and moved over to main veg where they go up to another 25-30 days.
Those are then moved into my first flower room at 6x4-1/2x7 high with two 600 watt HPS, then at about 30 days those are moved into second flower room at 7x 5 x7high with two 600 watts and a extra vertical 400 in center and lower.
So it's not a true perpetual but I harvest around 2 lbs every 30 days. I have dry room about 5x2x7 high.
Instead of mothers I just take cuttings from late vegging plants off the bottom, I then begin to clone them and many times being I have so many fem seeds from collecting over the years I start some seedlings as well.
I could do another two rooms and get a harvest every 14 days but I don't have the room and can barely keep up with what I have going on now.

You can't be afraid of too much light if you wish to have a decent producing perpetual.
You are going to need some more Lumatek ballasts and bulbs.
Bigger smart pots, 5 gallon minimum.

Wow lots of wattage ur running there! What's your bill like? I'd like to have more lighting but then in the hot summers here I'd have to run the AC at a lower temp which would also increase my energy bill.

If I'm going to be running cut clones in a 4x4x7 tent wouldn't it be better to use the smaller smart pots? Hence the mention of the 2 gal pots.

As far as your drying room, what do you use for smell?
