I have searched on here for a while and can't seem to find a setup like what I would like to do. Maybe it's because it's impractical? IDK..
Here's what I would like to do. Multiple site aerated DWC in a rubbermaid tote (54 gallons - 22Wx42Lx18H" = approx 6.3 sq ft of top surface area). 3" net pots with hydroton as the medium. Minimal veg (essentially none) looking to finish them lolipopped @ about 14" (max 18" at the most). As the title suggests I would like to do this SOG style with clones being placed in these to be rooted, then moved to flower cycling through 4 totes by rooting clones every 2.5 weeks.
Now for the real questions:
I would like input on the max amount I could fit on the tops of these. I would like to do at least 16 and feel that it might be a bit crowded but with the lolipopping I feel it is doable.
The other issue is the size of the res (54 gal). Would it be suitable to support 16 plants of this nature?
I am not concerned with air pump size, nutes, lights, etc; only the things I asked about being I have never done a multiple site DWC.
Thanks in advance
