The 400hps lamp/ballast is hottt, $ for energy use, and just less...stealth.

Ive looked into purchasing one of the grow cabs that have the built in hydroponic system, ventilation, carbon scrubber, 400w, basically a plug and play. These models cost upwards to $3500.

DIY is good for those of us who have experience with electricity, and building nice shit... not me.
 
no, i know, trust me I've seen practically every LED grow video on the internet lol. Initially I thought it was a great idea in theory with the red light panel for flowering, but from what ive seen the yields are significantly lower.. while its advertized as being the most powerful light with the perfect spectrum! very expensive taboot.

I would get my money back with a nice grow cabinet, and its stealth.. with an hps! its just a large investment, especially being 20 and cant save money for shit.

just to let you know...
you're gunna have a hell of a time trying to get your girls out if you plan on leaving them in there for a while. Im only at 3 weeks with 5 plants and the roots already take up the whole rez and are tangled together pretty bad.
 
i thought that too.. i saw someone talking about that issue, they said just separate best you can and cut the strands that are still hanging on.
 
hey man your setup souds good i have aerogarden pro200 with 2 extra clfs 3 air pumps with 1 foot bubble stone and 2 5inch bubblestones look at my thread and pics on my profile
 
Don't wait till you want to move them outside to remove the pods. Next time switch them around every week or so. It will stimulate growth and you can untangle any roots before they get too tangled up. Cutting strands will probably make your plant sad. You want her to be happy, don't you??

im gald i dont need to order seeds haha, i get mine from a medical dispensary out here in Cali, but thats not bad, you figure you can at lease get an ounce per plant, so the sales off one ounce will pay for the seeds, people will eat up a 200 dollar ounce of some home grown bongsmilie
