Been doing this for years. I just bought some of the bottles of water at the gas station with the lid that flips opens then you squeeze it. Can remember which brand water it was.

Technical term for 'science beaker thingy' is graduated cylinder. I might start calling them beaker thingies to see how my colleagues react though.

Lately Ive been using a marinade injector with the pointy tip broke off. Cost about 50 cents in the family dollar clearance section. Learned the hard way to break off the tip when I stabbed a hole in micro bottle. It can measure up to 30 ml. 
Another thing I learned. Walmart pharmacy gives out the oral syringes free.

I have 1gal pumps that works great for liquid nutes however those days are about gone as I switched to dry powder nutes only fuck getting %97 distilled water vs 100 pure dry powder that will last a lifetime plus 100x cheaper....a digital scale/ spoon/ cup is what I do..or make my own stock solution and use it.....squirt bottles do work great instead of the hassle with larger containers 1gal and up.....
