people getting banned

it was just his time to go, some users cant obide by the rules after many warnings so we say sorry it didnt work out for you and let them go. he is not back many people willl accuse new users or other users of being some banned users, they are very rarely right in their assumptions. some users dont realize that many people have similar thoughts and opinions on certain subjects...whodda thunk it right?

just wondering cause i see mods telling people to stop harrsing people and to chill out and people dont, along time ago i had a diifferent acount here before i got put away and it was so much diifferent when i got out i lost my info and started anew and this place changed alot

so you/ admin checked the logs and his ip is different is he using a public proxy ?
i would imagine its quite hard for the site to find the right balance between respecting user privacy
and knowing who folk are and how they hide their identity , not an easy one

only admins can see IP numbers and there is only 4 of us, other mods cannot. i could care less about peoples ip's , or where there from. But as with any site or in life people are responsible for their own personal safety. our admins are trusted people who wouldnt do anything wrong.

yeh sunni, i was just making the point that because of the nature of this site
many of its users will be hiding their identity
i was thinking how easy it is to build up a signature of a user based not just on ip but various other data
this would be pretty standard practice for many sites, but just a little bit more sensitive to deal with here for obvious reasons

Just look at his posts, if someone is telling members to cut off their leaves because the plant will grow more, it's probably that sir.ganga fellow. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who knows what when a guy can't even spell ganja.
