A Pembroke teen who allegedly bought marijuana with fake $20 bills faces drug and counterfeit-money charges.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Stephanie A. Graney, 18, of 264 Forest St., Pembroke, on two counts of possession of counterfeit bills and one count of conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Pembroke police believed Graney probably would not show up if summoned to court rather than arrested, according to court files.
Police say Graney used $400 in fake bills to buy two ounces of marijuana from Dominic Ferrante on Oct. 21 and $420 in fake bills to buy two ounces of marijuana from a 15-year-old boy on Oct. 26.
