Peat Pot Casing

I just encountered some experiments with peat pots as casing - what a great idea. Soak the pot in some basic solution, pasteurize it and then fill it with broken cakes, or spawn and put it in your fruiting chamber. The pot is all the same width, it should hold moisture just right, it gives you more surface area than any cased tray and it seems like a damn good way to actually case cakes rather than rolling them in vermiculite. I bet you will get the best flushes you ever got that way.

I suppose you could even turn it upside down after the substrate knits.
