PC grow box almost done

So Im growing in this thing right now. only thing left to do is get some more metal tape for both sides. Used cardboard to mount fans in and MDF for the lights. I plan on getting a in light. I had 105w U shaped CFL but it busted.

looks like its coming along pretty good keep up the good work! = i have to ask. is that tinfoil in the inside?? if so you might want to go with some other reflective material especially in a smaller area like that more likely to damage plant. at your local hardware store you should be able to buy this stuff call reflectix its a thin insulation for too hot temps and a reflective materal really handy keeps cool and reflects. goin to pick some up myself for my first grow room. well anyways just thought ide let you know well happy growing good luck! =)

Its foil on the sides but were the fans and lights are it is the metal tape for windows, duct, ect. yeah the tinfoil destroed my plant. Live and learn I guess.

depending on the planting situation you might need more lighting or end up with leggy plants =(. unless you plan on using a booster for the pot? im kinda interested in how this ends up will follow this. peace! smoke one!

I guess you can either paint the inside of the box white and not worry about foil or mylar burn.

If you wrinkle the foil up a little more then the light won't reflect off the foil in such concentrated spots.

my understanding was that the wrinkles coused the concentrated light.

i use dollar store windshield reflector, i have seen others use it as well, i have not started my grow yet, but it droped temps by atleast 10 deg. from the foil i was using.

Im already at flowering with this thing. Ive grow before but not this small. Check the pics.

The light is diffracted into different spots and thats how wrinkled foil is good. Your car reflector is the same, it's not smooth is it? It has tons of small ripples

yeah I thought about using one of those but the tend to trap heat wereas this tape actually dispurses the heat.

Is there anyway i can do this and COMPLETELY block the smell from traveling out? if so i could use this as a stealth to grow in my own house... which was talked about in another thread.

make sure that everything is sealed up and make a carbon filter. the tell you how to do it in some threads around.

ugh. I guess it depends on the light. anywhere from 1/8th to 1/2oz. They have alot of good threads on here that can better inform you.

i would never grow with just one cfl...maybe if i was starting a seedling or to keep some clones goin. is growing with one cfl worth the trouble?? i mean 2-3 months for the hopes of a 1/4 oz at most?? try to cram like 3 cfl's in there....or even like a 70W hps..if you could figure out a way to keep it cool..

like I said my big one broke. cant get another that is why my plant died. 65w @ 4000 lumens. and my space is a little bigger that 1 cubic foot. maybe a little light but it does descent. Even with my plant dying almost 3 months before harvest i got 5.2 grams fry so it works for me. stealth is rad too. ninja shit.
