Pc fans - need some help

Hi. Im setting up a couple pc fans for a new veggy box. Both are 12v 0.05a. Im wondering if i can take a 9v 300ma power supply and use that for both?

Mostly curious about the ampere. I hear if i get that wrong, it could go warm and be a firehazard.

I found i had some spare fans. 4 pin. I have marked out the yellow for power. Is it just connecting that one and the ground to the powersupply to make it work?

It depends on the fans start voltage. If fan can start at 9V there is no problem with amperage: fan will draw no more then it needs. Connect your fans in parallel mode, so they will draw 0,05+0,05=0,1 A < 0,3 A that your power supply gives.

It worked out perfectly. Doesnt run hot, and is superquiet. Cheers. Gonna start building the box.
