OK hello guys, its been a very sad week for me seeing 3 of my plants with MAJOR spotting issues there in flowering and not had any issues until now. When I started out I had good intentions with soil and bought 3 bags of plant magic but after spending so much cash on the set up I simply ran out out of cash in a time of need, some are in plant magic some in Coco and some in mirical grow and I am quite sure it's down to pH and lack of buffers within the soil I've tried raising the pH with dolomite lime but I have read it takes months to see a change and now I can first hand vouch for that the plants are getting the correct fox farm nutes and the brown spotting is EVERYWHERE and seriously doubt they will survive so my question is do I harvest the sick plants now, will be about 3 weeks early! Here are some pics...

Don't harvest, add some calmag and relax. I've had worse make it through, was the dolomite lime crushed?

Sent from my Nexus 5 using Rollitup mobile app

Yeah dolomite was like a powder anyway and I have been adding Cal mag but can't see any difference just getting worse rapidly. My water is so hard it's like 240ppm so I was gonna add distilled water to blend it but even the distilled water measured at 240ppm exactly the same which shocked me a bit, ppm reader is digital and callabrated. Can't help wonder also, the plants that are perfectly fine are not in air rated pots just the sick ones are so not sure if the roots are suffering from the intake

Take a look here: http://www.growweedeasy.com/phosphorus-deficiency-cannabis

MANY different things are possible here because of the MANY mediums you have them in. So, it will be a pain in the ass and A LOT of typing but ALL the details big and small are needed and for all the mediums you are using to answer SPECIFIC questions. If you ask a vague and general question you will get answers based on that.

Good Luck and Great Growz!

Oh and also if you want the best possible answers take better pics by turning off the HPS first.

Are they all showing the same thing or the coco ones, soil and X medium?

Pix are looking like K issues. CoCo has K issues all day if you don't rinse it with Ca/Mg in the start when filling pots.

More details please.

Just a 2 week up date with some pics of my first grow very happy right now :))

All are topped my best one has 9 colas and my wosre one is the first pic I thought I'd try fim'ing as I never done it before but I literally did miss lol..

Think my next grow I'm gonna use a scrog net so I don't have to have fans to strengthen the stems energy will be better used. And also think I will do 4 plants instead of seven because I want to try shaping the plants better, then top, top again super crop, Nada Nada... Will upgrade my 400W lumitek for a 1000W

Those are healthy plants great job pulling it off on that budget. I am seeing a talented gardener and those plants look delicious. Letting them finish is the hardest part of all on your first grow, talk about a watched pot lol

is this your first grow? also wanted to ask what strains, how big are those pots in liters or gallons? looks like a really successful grow....i cant wait to hear how much dry weight you pull....

Thanks for your comments guys and yeah this is my 1st grow I'm growing a early skunk strain in 15 litre pots I did have 2 plants that did not do so good in air pots so doubt I will use those again.

im particularly interested in your experience with the airpots and that they didnt seem to do as well as the normal ones. do you or anyone else have any speculation as to why they didnt perform?

so all your pots are early skunk?

thanks for sharing

Yes it's a split indica / sativa strain, very leafy plant and quite dense buds. I don't want to put other people off air pots I was all up for it after researching it. But where I was using Milton cleaning fluid to sterilize the tent I think it was bad for exposed roots. Better roots concealed unless hydro I thinks..
