Would be cool for a password protected area for members that are verified or something.

this has been an ongoing thought or discussion we did have this, but honestly we feel this would not be the best decision ont he forum to have so i have to politely tell you it probably wont happen. sorry mate.

If all verified members went to a password protected area, it probably wouldn't leave much knowledge on the open site for newcomers. Jmo.

Would be a good place to host contests though like the one in the led forum.

Very true.

I guess the verified members would just have to make a conscious effort to not spend all their time behind closed doors.
