Hey guys ! Well it has happened that at the moment I live on a island almost on the equator and i have acquired around 40 local landrace bagseeds . I already have a nice hillside plot facing south and the seeds are being germinated as i write. My plan is the following 1)As soon as they show first sprout take them from paper towels, place in around 0.5 l pots until they reach around 5 cm height .2)Transplant them to my prepared plot.
My conditions are the following - Temperature around 28-32 degrees Celsius every day. Average of 70-80% humidity , rain during this season is rare , about 3 times in 3 weeks , sometimes less.

And the stuff which i would like to find out - is there a preferable soil mix for tropics or should i just go with my regular egg shell, worm, algae, chicken shit mix? How would the flowering happen in , if the light cycle is 12-12 whole year around? Also i have no access to shop bought ferts, since the country where i live is really underdeveloped , so can somebody hit me up with a nice recipe or a guidline how to make some fertilizers or compost teas?
Sorry for the bucnh of questions but its my first time in tropics :) Cheers !
