Thought some of you might find this interesting. I have to imagine that mysticism and hallucinogenic rituals brought the ancients much of their insight.

Ahh, " The Stoned Ape Theory" kinda. A belief that apes injested mind altering substances which led them to higher, critical thinking thus jump starting evolution.
