Paper Bag Sexing Technique

i was told this by a friend a couple of days ago, seems possible...

choose a plant that you would like to sex and choose a growing tip.

place a lightproof bag over it. seal it with a twist tie or whatever.

then, simulate the flowering phase and simply remove the bag after the 12hr dark period, and replace when 12 hr's of light have passed.

after 1 / 2 weeks you will be able to see pre-flowers.

anyone tried this? seems too easy to be legit.

hmm plants show sex early from alot of light intensity but this might work as well

Ya know that may work.

It does work, its a very old technique and has been used by many.

It is true, search around tho buddy, its used ALOT when growing outdoors because you dont want to go to your grow site often and get caught, so what you do is put a black garbage bag just on the tip of a growing part of the plant and twist tie it on, and with in about the first couple of days it should show its sex, its good for out doors so you can sex em then pick out all the males and you know you will have all females and not have to worry about males getting into your harvest. But DO NOT take my word for it. like i said, I read it somewhere while i was researching this shit... just type in on google "sexing marijuana" and it will pop up.

lol... i know how to sex, he only reason i was a bit doubtful about it was that i thought it could still aggravate the whole plant and cause it to hermi.

i never said you couldnt bro, i was just saying, if you wanted to find out the paper bag trick or whatever, then google it... wasnt doubting your ability to grow a weed haha
