Painting the walls?

I know this will come off as a dumb question, but will it hurt plants the are currently growing, if you painted the walls the the room that has the plants, while the plants are still in there? -they are in a 4x4

Open to suggestions.

Painting the walls due to moving out of the tent soon.

Depends on the paint i guess. But i think your okay just keep it ventilated and don't get any paint on those plants.

ONly a water based paint not oil based,
make sure you clean ReAl GooD because you will want a large amount of ventilation, I would pump air in and pump air out.
Make sure to cover any air intake on your tent with a stocking to keep out dirt, hair etc.

Why not remove plants and put them in the bathroom or something? I wouldn't paint with plants in there...

paint will stain your plants, i doubt that you want that, you would get dry paint particles in your buds even if theyr not flowering yet. 4x4 area can be handled by either removing plants or shading them with some nylon or cloth IF moving them is impossible for any reason...

Thanks for all the suggestions.
Like I mentioned before, im moving out of the 4x4 and using the entire room...
So I would paint the walls flat white.
Looks like I may just cover the walls with mylar..at least 50%+ of the wall (in terms of height).
