Pacific seedbank?

I bought Banana Kush Auto through them.
2/5 popped. The two that did were very hardy, but first time with autos I don’t know what to expect with terps, quality, and such
I want this to be a good company because they ship from semi-nearby (less carbon footprint) and take credit card.
Going to read through more of this thread before I buy again, which I was thinking of doing. 2/5 popping up is not good...

Agree with the 2 month not being acceptable. Not worried about packaging but I agree if it says Norcal Farms on the site, it should come in that packaging. Wonder what the vetted seed producers think about this practice.
Replying to you but also I too got my 5 seeds in an unmarked vial.
I want them to be a stand-up company because I live in NorCal* and want seeds with a smaller “carbon footprint”; seeds that didn’t travel across the world (unless it’s World of Seeds- very happy with their Kwazulu!)
*It’s crazy- I live about an hour from Twenty20 and I can’t find their seeds in local dispensaries and it seems I’d have to order from one of the big players, and can’t use credit card to make it quicker. But, that’s another thread and maybe I didn’t look hard enough...

There's another company, US based, takes PayPal. North Atlantic Seed. I bought a few from them. Reasonable shipping, with insurance guarantee. Planted 1 to test last week IMG_20210408_080018871.jpgand it sprouted in under 48 hours. Growing very well so far!

We'll see, but I don't think I'll be buying from Pacific again.

Thanks for the input!!

Lol a reverse no light leak that would be a new one. So their not preflower but deff budding?
They probably gave him an auto. What are you talking about with a light leak? He said the lights don't go off. There is no dark period for light to leak into.

I was the one who initially asked about a light leak. It was too early and I hadn't had so much as one sip of my coffee and failed to read the "24/7" in the OP. Or I read it, but it didn't register.

I grew some nice plants from their seed. But since I am growing 1:1 low THC hi CBD strains, I had the cured weed tested. Three different strains. All 3 came back at 16% - 18% THC. 2 had no detectable CBD, and 1 had 0.5% CBD. When I went back to check the breeder websites, I couldn’t find a trace of them anywhere on the web. Phony breeders, phony 1:1 seeds. The tip-off should have been the incredibly broad selection of high CBD seeds. The reputable sites have 2 or 3 and they claimed to have 50. Second clue should have been the reviews claiming really strong buzzes coming from what should be relatively lower potency plants. So one thing you can be sure of is that you are not getting what they say you’re getting. The product was good, but not what I was looking for, and way off the mark for the patients I growing for. And I wasted an entire cycle based on their lies. Pacific Seed Bank is a FRAUD,

When I was ready to buy some seeds I was looking for a more or less local seedbank. Pacific was shipping out of California and I'm in Arizona so with little research I chose Pacific. My first order was 3 Deathstar Auto's and 3 Critical fast bud autos's. You have the choice of auto's or photo's on your free seeds. I chose photo's and they sent me 3 free Afreck photo's. From order to receipt was about 10 days. Over the next 6 months all seeds germinated and grew into viable healthy plants. At least until I moved some outside and caterpillars and heat got 'em. Next I ordered some Kosher Kush and Godfather OG, the free seeds were Auto OG Cheese. None of the KK or GOG seeds germinated! I contacted them to request replacements. They replied within 10 minutes, wanted pictures. I sent them pictures of a distilled water jug and unsprouted seeds. Within an hour I had paperwork for new seeds. You have to pay 10 dollars for shipping but you get 3 more "free" seeds. I complained in the morning by lunch I had mailed off the payment for the replacement order. 9 days later I had my replacement seedpacks plus 3 more Auto OG Cheese. The first KK sprouted right away the GOG had a dud but the 2nd one sprouted. The free seeds I tried have sprouted and are growing vigorously.
Are the seeds what they say they are? Hard to say but I have 6 different varieties growing and each strain is distinctively different.
The KK and GOG not germinating at first kind of spooked me, definitely gonna get clones from them just in case. My theory is these were shipping during the heatwave and may have been cooked in a hot mail van or similar.
I will buy from them again, my experience with customer service was exemplary. The shipping time was brisk and the pot has been good. Your mileage may vary.

That was my fear when I ordered seeds last year when the USPS was slower than shit rolling uphill. Took almost 2 months to get seeds from European seedbank but they all cracked just fine.

I was going to order from Pacific Seed Bank, 3 of their Durban Poision Auto. They say they are from "Mendocino Farms" as Breeder. I was looking for a local firm, and it looks like Pacific had the best traceable genetics. But it's a crapshoot every time.
FIrst time ordering, hope it comes out okay, but hey Thirty bucks ain't that much to worry about. I coud back it up with Growers Choice who I have ordered from in the past and had great results.
I'm on a tight schedual to make this Superbowl, a Super Bowl of Sativa Splendor!

They don't have any traceable genetics. All of their breeder names are made up.
