Overwatering problem?

Hi all, new grower here with a bit of a problem. I was given 2 clones from a friend about 2 weeks ago, one is some type of afghani and a jack herer. Well the afghani is experiencing stunted growth for the past 2 weeks and it looked ok but then slowly started drooping more and more every day and the leafs are looking a bit yellowish. From what ive been reading it seems i have overwatered it. Ive stopped watering it for the past 4 days and the soil feels dry, so im wondering if it takes longer for the plant to recover or should i water it now. The temps are at around 82 and humidity at around 30 growing on 6500k CFL's. On the other hand, the Jack is growing really fast :weed: Thanks for any help! :peace:

What happens is the roots drown and often rot. When the plant repairs itself it will take off with growth.

They will droop from over watering and over watering.

yes people overwater clones like crazy....they need to be dry! it almost FORCES them to root..and are you giving any kind of nutrient? temps and humidity are good..

No nutes yet but its week 3, so i should start soon. Any recommendations as far as nutrients go?
I just transplanted them into bigger pots 2 days ago, both plants have lots of roots! Ok so your plants can droop when over and underwatering, but my question is, if its overwatering, is there a transition phase where the plant will get better as the soil dries up and then droop again when it needs water? or will is stay droopy until the soil dries up and i water again? Sorry for all the Q's and thanks for your help guys!

Since ya just transplanted them 2 days ago the plant maybe in shock or was it droopy before the transplant?

No nutes are needed in that fresh soil for a while 2 weeks? perhaps

Yeah it was droopy when i transplanted it, im just not sure if im going to see the plant get better before it needs water again.

I would wait until this funk is over...It has to be transplant shock as well as overwatering..if the leaves are pretty much straight or pointing to the light, thats when you know its perfect..sure you can see that.. I would watch the soil as well...do you have good drainage?
