Overwatered Seedling

So it's been like 7 years since my last grow and I made a newbie mistake and overwatered this trainwreck seedling and as it was a gift it's the only one I've got. It's got a bit of yellowing and "burning" on the tips and older leaves and has slowed in growth a bit. I aerated a bit and am letting the soil dry. You guys think she's gonna make it or should I uproot and replant in fresh soil? Whatever causes less stress.

Just leave it alone. Aerating and disturbing it in the soil just makes the possibility of making it worse increase. It'll be fine if you manage to get the LITFA technique down.

Will do. I'm assuming the LIFTA technique (first I've seen it called that) is watering based on the weight of the pot? If so Yeah I'll be doing that from now on. I had been giving her a bit of water every morning and yeah too much...I've grown to nice harvest's several times but I totally feel like a noob on this one.

It's a bit of a joke. Leave It The Fuck Alone.

One I also managed to screw up. LITFA. There, that makes more sense. Lol.

Damn't that makes sense, now I feel a bit more dunce! HAHA But I got ya, just gonna leave her be and let it dry. Thanks, man! Also you got it right the first time I just had a bit of dyslexia kick in and saw it as "LIFTA" so I thought lifting the pot lol

Update: I tried to LITFA for almost a month and the cheap ass soil I had her in was just not drying and choking her to death so last week I said screw it. I uprooted her and replanted in some Ocean Forest with the help of some Dynomyco (which I can't recommend enough) and a week to the day later she's doubled in size and turned a nice healthy green again. Below are before and after pics Happy to report she's doing great now and flourishing!

It's great to see that she perked back up strong. Especially after I overwatered mine recently. I'm also applying LITFA technique lol.
Don't worry, as long as your soil isnt basically just mud like my original soil was it should bounce back. It's amazing how resilient this plant is. Honestly with everything I put mine through it should be dead but she fought to live and grow and now shes all jarred up with her skunk roommate for a yield of 130.5g.

Of course you will! All it takes is a little time, patience and care. You got it and I know this because you weren't afraid to share your mistake and learn from it as well! I'll find your thread and put it on watch! Happy growing, Growmie!
