Over watering ? Nitro toxicity or worrying too much ?

Hi guys and gals. This is my first time growing autos and 2nd grow overall. These babies are 20 days from seed and seemed to be doing great for the 1st week or 2. Now they seemed to have just stopped growing in height at 6-8 inches tall although tgere is still lots of new growth

. The leaves seem to look a little droopy can I get some input.

It's a soil grow
16 litre smart pots
600w dual spectrum
Cheapo soil (maybe hot and a big mistake)
1/4 perlite, hand full of bone meal and some vermi...blah (water retention stuff)
White diesel haze and auto kush strains

I was feed g them water daily in small quantities until now,
Feeding all nuts at under half recommended strength.

The enlarged pic shows the worste affected of my girls.

It's looks over watered. I would try and get a schedule down for watering I water evey other day..you don't want to over water... Usually a good way to test if you Over watered or not is to lift the pot if it's heavy you most likely over watered. You want it to be a little light but still able to still feel some water in the pot

Thanks for the input yeah the pots feel pretty heavy especially the one with the little runt in. I was leaning toward over watering theory until I noticed just a single claw leaf on another plant today. Anyway iv skipped watering today and may skip tomorrow depending on how they look.

So plant are looking a little better today...more perky. I have noticed the huge fan leaves are restricting light to alot of the new undergrowth on some of the ladies. Now under normal circumstances with a regular photo plant I would simply remove the odd leaf. Is this a wise idea with autos ?

No do not cut even on photos. Its over watered. Water to the point of run off and then let dry out. The yellow might be the onset of flowers. Cannabis gets a yellow tint to new growth right befor flower.

no don't do that, and depending on whats in the soil you may have too much food in there, especially if you are feeding them, which I wouldn't do at all this early.
Never cut any green leaves off your plant.
Always water when needed as opposed to any schedule.
especially with plants of varying sizes.
I also would go with a smaller light at this point, the 600w isn't needed when they are little like that. Doesn't hurt them, but is overkill

A heavy pot is ok. Water till run off and the pot will fell heavy. Then let it dry until it feels light.

Dude during the first part of a plants life it is not unusual to go a week or better between watering.

Thanks for info guys but is 3 weeks considered early in an autos life ? I'm gonna hold off the water until at least Sunday - Monday then hit them with the vegging nutes. I will only feed at half strength or less

the strain of the plant is not important, it's a cannabis plant, the auto part doesn't matter, the age of the plant dictates the size of the root system.
What is in your soil?
a 6-8 inch plant isn't going to need nutrients to the degree of it changing color like that.

My soil is some regular soil mix with some compost and topsoil..bone meal...perlite and vermicylite( or whatever the water retention stuff is called ) and it is one out of the 6 that has yellowed like that. I didn't give any feeds other than formulex, root booster, sea weed stuff (nitrozyme) up until this week when I gave it some vegging nutes

My thoughts on this;
I'd back way off the nutes and the water, let them dry for a while, like a week possibly. Get a fan on them if you don't have, keep the air moving, they love that.
Don't water on a schedule until and unless your environment and plants show you a schedule to water on.

Thaks for your input. I have 2 fans running input and exhaust..1 of my concerns is I currently have them off for 6 hours per day as they are hooked up to the contactor/ timer. Should I have them running 24/7?
