Over-nuted? Could someone confirm/offer aternate diagnosis?

Hi all

On my first grow, 3 'big bud' plants in soil, started under CFLs, moved to 250 HPS about 3 weeks into veg. They've hit 6 weeks now, I've done a fair amount of LST to try to keep the canopy flat. Moved to 12/12 2 days ago.

Watering schedule the last couple of weeks has been every 2-3 days, alternating between fresh water (24-48 hours standing) and 2/3rds strenght nutes (ATA Terra-leaf - approx 25ml in 7l water)

Generally the plants have looked healthy, they don't seem to be stretching much, and Ithey've responded well to the LST.

However I've noticed a few yellow spots here and there, and as you can see in the third pic, one leaf has got a kind of browinsh 'tear'.

From my research on various sites and forums I *think* I might have a slight bit of nutrient burn, but before I started messing about, I'd appreciate some of you more experienced grower's wisdom!

Thanks in advance!

Don't water the plants, water the soil.

I see water on the leaves. Nutrients directly on the plant will burn.

Yeah this one was plain water, I read that its good to get some plain water on the leaves to discourage spider mites etc? I must admit though, despite my best efforts there's usually some splashing on the leaves when I water - so do you think the nutrient level is ok and it's down to the splashing?

Thanks :)
