Anyone have any idea how i could water my plants by only having to go down there every saturday or sunday. so they would have to last a week without me going down to them.

Even if you use crystals, you need a water supply.
Find or make a pit that'll catch water, get a 12 volt pump( I use a water puppy), some garden hose, and a 12 volt battery. Leave the battery out there, unhooked when not in use, and recharge it with a battery pac charger. works like a charm and its mobile if wanted or theres splitters to add more hoses to get to different areas.

If stealth isnt an issue you could get some of these watering spikes. They make plenty of models and you can find them just about anywhere they sell gardening supplies. You can hook up any water bottle or a 2-liter, whatever suits your needs, and it would drip to the plants. Probably not the most effective way but it is cheap and it works if you cant run power to a pump.

take a couple of 1 gallon water jugs and poke a small hole at the bottom. enough to drip a little bit at a time. it will be like a continuous drip system you just gotta make the hole small enough but surely that would work if you got it right.

damn thats like an upgraded version of my idea.. i dont think stealth would be a problem lol.. if they are close enough to see that thing im sure they are close enough to smell the plant let alone see it.

thank you all. Im going to look into the amazon one. but i dont quite understand the system with the water pump. i have to leave it on while im there and then turn it off when i leave? cause that doesnt make cense.

Those are very ineffective for cannabis plants... It is because it will CONSTANTLY keep your soil wet, leading to root rot.

well then what should i do. does anyone have any plans for a drip system? ill get some pictures of the location and ill see if i can make some plans for a watering system.
Is it really that much hassle to go there twice a week?
if you're worried about carrying water just make some big water containers near the site, fill with enough water to last half the season or even the whole season. This way you can can store all your nutes underground at the site or so, all mixing can be done there so you don't need to tote water jugs back and forth.

Look all this info I'm going to give you is from experience. There methods I have used in the past or to date. This isn't "ideas" there methods that work.
Use water crystals, pre soak them and add to the soil mix, this dosent give your plants water much if any but it keeps the roots and the plant from drying out. Just with that I have grown in mountains that never get any rain at all and only water once a week. Take note that I mixed sunshine mix #4 in the native soil at a ratio of about 1/1. Also coco wuld work well to lossen and hold moisture in the soil.
A good water system I have runed is a drip system with a battery powered water timer.(it works great with the method above) first u need a 55 gal plastic drum or a smaller 15 gal one depending on your needs. Next you need a 1/2" or 3/4" brass hose bibe (faucet) and a drill bit that will be just smaller then the faucet's threading that way you can screw it into the drum. Use Teflon tape and silicon or epoxy To make sure it don't leak. Next u will need a battery powered water timer the ones that just screw on the the water faucet. Now you have to make a stand for the barel with bricks rocks or out of 2x4's screws and a screw gun. But the easiest way is to just put it up hill from the plants and way gravity will give u water pressure. If not build a stand with the bricks or 2x4's at least 2' off the ground to create the pressure next hook up a black hose drip system to the water timer. You will fined all this stuff at a lowes or home depot. But on the 1/4" drip lines that come off the main line don't use flow restricters. The pressure won't be strong enough. Set the water timer to water for 5 minutes or so on wensday every week, then you water by hand on Saturday or Sunday.good luck

^WHOA!^ I've never seen one of those. I think it might work a little too good. You'd have a hell of a time keepin root rot at bay.
If it's THAT important, than you could always dig a reservoir, if it's logical for your setting. Cover it part of the way, and it's also a good deterrent for critters, as mosquitos will surely be spawning in your reservoir... Or so I hear.

It's called a tree ring and comes in hard plastic and soft. It will water for about a week, nice and slow and steady.
