outdoor massachusetts greower

Hi im a newb with four outdoor female plants 5 weeks into budding. THey all apear to be doing really well even though they flowered late. My question is that for some reason they dont really smell like anything still. i have visited some of my friends plants that have much more of a smell. Why is this? and is there anything i can do to make my bud more stinky?

poop in your soil....well not your poop but bat poop..aka the guano. That will be sure to make it stinky. maybe your friend suffers from body odor and their scent has overpowered that of the marijuana they are growing. No but really a proper dry and a proper cure should bring out that dank smell. It also depends on the strain and the phenotype of that strain.

hahaah lmfao. thanks for the info man i didnt know that guano made ur bud more stinky. ya it also could just be a strain that doenst have a real potent smell. its that aussie blue haze from amsterdam seeds. my friend ordered some seeds last year but he ended up crossing it with juicy fruit and it shortened the flowering period by a couple weeks. I should be done around halloween but im wondering if i should pull them a little earlier. We have had 2 minor frosts in my area already but its been getting up to the 60s during the day. Any advice on that?

I was hoping to get my harvest in before the rest to take to the collectives. Well I started harvesting mine a little early and by the time I got there they were not accepting any more. I was pissed considering I had havested just as they started maturing, My point is I thought my plants were on time, evedentally everyone elses finished early...who knows really but I do believe strains have much to do with it.
