Why only use 15 gal smart pots for the light dep, instead of 50 or 100gal? Will the roots not use the whole pot in two months

in your intial posting you said
The supplies you need to build these hoops are as follows:

16'x1"x1" Pieces of lumber
4 Flat brackets with preset holes
4 Corner brackets with preset holes
12 PVC brackets
1" Screws
24 pieces of 2' Rebar
20'x1" PVC pipe
1 100 pack of Zipties
just trying to clarify about those wooden baseboards. is it 16ft x 1'(ft tall) x 2''(inches) thats what it looks like to me, also whats crazy wind to you 50+ mph?

well you my hoops arent design to house plants that would grow in 50 - 100 gallon smart pots.
i had some in 15s and some in 25s as well. the 25s are kicking ass but if i could i would run 60s in the hoops.
the roots are already at the bottom but im hoping they shoot right thru the pots!

yes exactly 16 ft long x 1 ft height x 2 in width
and maybe about 30-40 miles. i doubt ill get that at my new spot but last year it was pretty crazy. make sure you fasten the PVC to the wooden base boards for high winds...

the tarp has to be at least 25x 65 to make sure it drapes over complets i give myself 20 feet to work with. (include the height you only have an extra 12-14 ft max to work with)
i am testing between breathable fabric which ran me $$$$ big time
or regular black out tarp which is a little less then half the other.

theres about 65 total in there and i really dont know what theyll give me hopefully enough to last until the OD season..:peace::peace::peace::weed:

in my current greenhouse rather than fastening it to the baseboards I just a took a 2x4 floor plate and drilled holes in it 3' on center, then pounded 4-5' 1/2'' rebar at least 2' into the ground through the floor boards and attached baseboards to the floorboards, my pvc was 1 1/2'' and not flexible like schedule 80 or something so i had to a-frame. and drive the rebar deep into the ground it seems to anchor it very very well. its gotten above 75 mph out here. i built smaller hoops inside of it for light dep..just got some tarps yesterday. found them on craigslist, kinda funny. very heavy duty

How long did it take them to root the 25gal? In the process of designing a greenhouse to hoop right now. Trying to decide how big to make it and the size of smart pots to use

GARDEN REPORT : Finally a little bit of action going down at the ranch. The babies are in full bloom now 24 days or so outside and they couldnt look any better! about 3 to 4 feet in height with not being topped which i am very glad i went with not topping this time. i did top 4-6 and there is an immediate noticable difference in over all size. the 3 various "cookies" i have in the garden are all looking pretty decent as well. the scotts OG also holding its own but nothing can keep up with the growth of the kryp.
allittle purple starting already

PROPERTY REPORT : did a little more work on the new flat getting the spacing all figured out and began tilling the ground where the 25 or so plants will be going. going to try and space them at least 10-15 ft apart to ensure space and no shading! lots of people dont take the shading into account and when in full bloom i want full sun!
the other terrace levels are being tilled as well and amended with a solid 6 inches of soil then gravel within the next 2 weeks! getting a new fence as well since my neighbors arent so kind to the new guy :finger::finger::finger: and i have no idea why, its only a couple the rest are totally cool :eyesmoke:. also got some steps made from one garden to
the other which is prettycool. bongsmilie. working on getting extra water tanks as well.

WEATHER REPORT : the weather report will including planting info since the weather and sun will play a key role in my planting. its been various temperatures out here some days we have 80 degree sunshine and some days like today we have thunder storms and on and off heavy rains. WHICH WE NEED. more water please.
plants looks like itll be toward the middle to end of may beofre they come out on there own completly before i plan on putting them in a greenhouse like the other and vegging for an extra 2-4 hours. before the rain today!

STONER REPORT : all my extract/edible/experimental stuff will be posted here. mixed up some more sour d fullmelt and had my lady spinning it for me. she can make some damn nice bubble/fullmelt. also ran some shatter ill be bringing to the spring greeting. does your girl spin?

It said you vegged them for 30 days before you set them outside I believe? Did they root the 5gal before you transplanted
