Mine are about at the same state as you but I only consider mine first week flowering, I would think by 3 week flowering they would have nice size buds already. I would start high P fertilizer.

Well how long ago did you notice actual buds forming, not just preflowers. Cause mine showed preflowers about 3 weeks ago, but I wouldnt consider that flowering, she is just maturing and getting ready for flowering. Im pretty sure you count flowering as once you start seeing actual buds, not just preflowers. Maybe yours are farther along than mine though, who knows. Your buds are only about the size of a pinkynail though right?

little buds started forming before we left for holiday on july 31, they're about a bit bigger than a thumb nail? maybe two weeks would be slightly more accurate. how big are yours?

Ah yes id say yours are prob around 2 weeks then. Mine are only the size of my pinky nail, just started showing a few days ago. So im pretty sure mine is first week, yours is in second week.

Yours are lookin good though! How many do you have?

oh thats cool! what are you growing? do you know? Thank you! i have two, the first plant has about 16 stems on it that are budding, the second i'm not sure. i love them both so much i go out and kiss them on the leaf every morning HAHA

Mine is a bag seed from "white widow". Not sure if it was actually white widow, but it was very tasty bud when I smoked it, and I found a couple seeds and decided to plant this year. Holy crap thats only two plants! Good job! I thought there was like 6 haha. Ive only got one growing so far. I know what you mean about loving your plants, I cant stop going outside and looking at my girl from every direction, she looks so beutiful! I just hope mine can finish in time, do you have to worry about frost?

oh awesome! if it was tasty when you smoked it it'll be 100x better after you grew it yourself. you're lucky to have found such good bag seed! thank you! mine are random bag seeds, i keep all my seeds in a big jar and pick out the top 5 best looking ones HAH i know thats no way to judge but its fun. we bend our plants so they grow sideways instead of up. we only have a 6 foot fence and want huge plants so the bending promotes the side growth to get MASSIVE and they fill up the space in no time at all. we're expecting them to be done in early october and it's still a pretty warm out through september, but sometimes it does get cold in the early fall and i worry about frost, they are beauties! i don't want anything to damage them ahaha. have you got photos of yours?

If it's not too big, get a huge ass garbage bag for the frost, Ive had 5 bags over 1 big plant and it got me through a few nasty frosted mornings.

cavalettas, Id wait another week bofore you give it a boost, let them get well established. And when you use that stuff, cut back your bloom nutes a few hundred ppm.

mushroom head your girl is beautiful, i hope you dont have to harvest early, try and cover it up as best as possible, as long as they stay dry the frost cant do too much damage. i'm in massachusetts so the weather fluctuates like nowhere else haha its hard to say there wont be worry of frost, because it could sneak up out of nowhere.

smrt, the beastie bloomz will be the first nute we're using on them, aside from some slow release plant food sticks. would we still have to cut the ppm? what does that mean exactly...haha i'm new to nutes. last year we grew all organic skunk and pulled in 6 ounces using no nutes at all. i'll definitely hold off on the boost, thank you

Thanks cavalettas. Ill hopefully be able to flowering around 4 weeks before frost, then hopefully cover her and extend the season a few weeks at least. It would make my life if I could get some decently mature bud off of this plant, as this is my first time growing.

don't worry too much about it, you could drape a light tarp over the top if you had to and it should keep most of the frost off. i'm sure you'll get some great buds off of her, it's your first grow? that's awesome, it looks really really good.

Im building a greenhouse for her right now, that should protect her from the frost. And yah this is my first time ever trying to grow any sort of plant haha. Anywho keep posting pics of your girls as the buds keep growing!

thanks john!

and look at you, you've got a green thumb! haha, great job and i hope the greenhouse works well, you should post photos when you're done. i'll definitely be keeping everyone updated. budding is the best part!!

cavalettas i thought the beastie was like a nute booster, sorry to confuse you. If thats the case feed them the nutes but dont use those sticks. Use real nutes and an additive (if you want) but definitely get it on the nutes now, start off at half strength and see how they like it and go from there.

PPM = "parts per million" and thats the measuring standard most growers go by. Hope this helps and good luck.

we'll be using the beasties and molasses to build sugars. we dont really have money to buy more nutes so we'll have to go another season without them, expecting a great yield anyway. thank you!
