outdoor greenhouse. is it practical or am I just paranoid?

I've always been afraid of growing outdoors, but I'm on a half acre in rural nevada in a very quiet neighborhood. I get the fear though that greenhouses are targets for roving bands of criminals who will do whatever's necessary to break into a greenhouse to check for bud. is this a fear that I should let consume me? or is it highly unlikely that such an event would occur?

Dude I've never had a green house but I've heard of people having them in cities. If your in rural Nevada you should be fine but I'd disguise it as a shed or hide it by something. I doubt they'll do fly overs but Nevada is a medical state so get your card!

this.... a greenhouse can be a bit of a red flag especially if any one knows you use marijuana. Where as if you do a guerrilla grow, if the plants are found no one can point them back to you.

I am pretty sure cops look closely at all greenhouses they can see from the air.

carport!

Greenhouses, here in Norcal draw much attention. Check out my carport greenhouse (link below). It's a portable carport.
There's two others on my block, they very look benign.

What he said. If you're a known toker a greenhouse is gonna get looked at by either the cops or your supposed "friends". More likely the latter come harvest time. 7-8 out of 10 times the person who rips you off is someone you know.
