Outdoor flowering,indoor vegging

Hi all, i was curious if any one had any thoughts on vegging ur plants insides; but finishing them outdoors? Iv heard no light can replicate the power of the sun. And this led to my curiosity of budding them outdoors, maybe the sun will produce bigger nuggets than my 1000 watt hps. Any thoughts are welcome
