Outdoor 2009

This is the start of the growing season in this part of the country, so I took one of my rooted cuttings to the 6" pot, and outdoors she went (she, cause it was cloned from a confirmed mother plant).

3/28/09 - 3PM. Put her outside in the heavy rain. Its about 60 degrees. Cutting is about 6", roots were nice and white and about 4" long. Planted in pre moistened Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Watered the plant in, and put it outside in the light to moderate rain storm. The plant had the normal slight shock and drooped the leaves for a while. I fully expect the larger leaves to die within a few days, but if they don't, great!

Looking good man im getting ready to put some ladies outside real soon!! you should top that baby in the near future and have it bush up!

Cool man, thanks! I am looking forward to seeing your ladies! Since the mother of this clone is about 6' tall, yes I am gonna pinch this one when she is about, 2', not too big.

4/1/09 - 3PM. Its been getting a little cool here the past few days but I left her outside anyway with highs in the 60s and lows in the 50s. Been cloudy since I put her outside a few days ago to begin the grow. So she has not gotten any direct sun, ever in her life, just CFL and real bright overcast/indirect natural light. All in all, she is doing very well! Time to make a major decision on my other rooted clone (inside or outside grow) decisions decisions.

Plans for this one - when she outgrows the pot, I am putting her in the ground in my outdoor permanent spot so she can grow as big as she wants.

Looink pretty good man! I noticed the tip of the plant in pic 3 ooks burned?? If those are clear cups u shoud cover them somehow as roots like darkness. Also i have heard it just wastes time to go from 24/7 to 18/6 tyhen to 12/12. I would cut out the 24/7 and use a 18/6 from the start and go straight to 12/12. Looks great tho, u shoud strt a grow journal

Jtoker - lookin good. My advice is similar to Murder's. I would either do 18/6 OR 24/7 (either one). When you are ready to flower, go to 12/12 and be ready!

4/4/09 - 6PM. Just wanted to post some pics. We finally have had some sunshine on the plant today, all day long. Windy as hell, but you would not believe the strength of that stem already cause of the wind!

4/12/09 - 6PM. Nothing new really, just wanted to post a weekly update on the growth progress. She survived some severe storms, severe winds to go along with those storms and some heavy rain. Its an outdoor grow, after all!

4/25/09 - 10PM. The plant has absolutely taken off in the veg, however, I noticed today, she is fuckin blooming, and she is only 6" tall. But, the bud looks healthy, and the plant is very healthy. She has some SUPER thin leaves, totally a Sativa.

looking good bro! Not a big deal but u might wanna remove those bottom couple fan leaves. Ive read that the plant will waste energy trying to repair the damaged vegetation. Besides that looking awsome! Keep up the good work!

5/1/09 - 2PM. Thanks Murder, removed the bottom leaves that were a little bad, and she has taken off in the blooming! Wow!

I still cannot believe I have a 6" plant that is full of frosty flowers, bigger than the mother plant that is 5 months old. I dont get it. But in any case, here are some new pics of her. She loves that sunshine!
