Out of space! What can I do?

Hi all, I need some good advice, and that quikly!...

Back-story: Growing two plants in a fridge with limited fixed space. Hydroponic setup.

I had to postpone the flowering for couple of weeks and I think it will be the end of me...
My plants are now 10 days into flowering and growing faster and taller than I had expected. Well, this postponement on flowering was not planed.
I'm now running out of space very quickly and I know if I don't do something in the next couple of days, things will get cramped, burnt and ugly very soon.

What can I do in this situation?
Can I "top" the top of them somehow so they won't grow much taller?
Doesn't the biggest bud(s) always grow on top of the main stem(s)?
If I top or clip the top of the plant somehow, will it yield more/bigger bud on the lower branches instead? anyone have any experience with this?
Any absolute do-ers or don't-ers ? (experience plz.)

Thanks in advance...

True you have a lot of vertical growth still on the way...I suppose you could tie them down but you don't have much lateral room either.

i like the cheerios box... all i can say is

(1) if that is only 10 days into flowering, your fridge wouldnt have worked anyway and...

(2) its a good thing you didnt use wheaties

maybe you should have started flowering them when they were a lot smaller....

gunna have to find a closet my friend!
