So early this year i had alot of problems keeping deer awy form my plants until i used cages, my plants got going but quickly became stunted but thanks to the board they all trippled in size in the last 3 weeks...the only one i topped(they were stressed/stunted and i didnt wanna do anymore damage so just topped 1 to see) now has 4 limbs as big or bigger than the whole plant when topped 3 weeks ago

Since ive had the cages ive not had any problem with deer eating them. So now they are over taking the cage, am i going to have deer picking at the tops off them? or will they usually stay away from them if they are bigger in size? there is an abundance of food, soybean fields are just 50 yards away and i already see acorns all over the oaks....I dont visit them often if it rains decent so id hate to come back and see a bunch of stems

Im considering putting another cage onto the bottom one but this will hurt being stealthy and could cause a problem if we have a big storm. It will also force the plants, which are already over crowded, to be very over crowded and bunched up at the top
