The title of the article seems as ridiculous as the writers political agenda: "House Republicans Want To Sue The President For Not Arresting People For Marijuana". There is simply no integrity in these lawyers/politicians (R or D) keeping on with marijuana on the CSA (Controlled Substance Act) period. Obama and Holder worked for years to ensure States could not require ID at their voting booths based on accusations of bigotry, yet they've done nothing about their industry maintaining marijuana on the CSA regardless of clear bigotry and/or injustice. Why is executive fiat OK for marijuana and not voting laws? When the day comes that integrity of the CSA is demanded by The People and the faces of the opposition lobbyists become public the reality will become apparent and much different that these story lines IMO We the People need to transcend these politics fed to us like idiots and demand equality and justice, not protect or slander politicians based upon our support of D or R.

I did fail to state the obvious in my rant yesterday. Of all Obama's executive fiats in question clearly none are "For Not Arresting People For Marijuana". I hope even the dimmest among us here realize it would be suicide to digest that political rhetoric as truth and if we are ever to win this war we really need to wake up.

My original thought on this was not R vs. D. It was that these fine upstanding congressmen/women could have tried to find a way to re-schedule mj from I to something less, thinking of the will of the people. But, once again, they're reaction is 'I don't like this' so we need to uphold the law of the land on mmj. Why? Is this a 'moral' thing that needs judgement? I believe if one were to look at a map with the voting congressmen/woman, it would be red vs. blue or north vs. south. JUST MY STUPID HUMBLE OPINION. US has been turning it's head on laws throughout our history, not just mmj.

That's the problem brother, there is no more truth in the Red v Blue, North v South or R v D than the simple bigotry that fuels these story lines/problems/divides. Obama talked a good game under the Democratic banner about marijuana prior to talking office and then? Obama could have actually issued that executive fiat "For Not Arresting People For marijuana" five years ago forcing the Democrat controlled congress to address and correct these Schedule I issues long ago, but instead we got political stunts like Obamacare. This "problem" and "that solution" are getting worse every year with no true answer in site. How is it that possibly the best chance for a future solution to this problem might be found in a Red Southern states Republican Senator becoming president? Or would that just end up like the Hope & Change promised from the other side not long ago

We must seek simple integrity on a micro level to transcend the bigotry fed to us on a macro level IMO
