Whats up boys.. Havent started a thread in quite some time... Have my medical card in hand and I am ready to go ahead and start up a second journal. I have a couple of seeds on the way, should be here within the next couple of days.. For shits and giggles I have a bagseed going just until the beans arrive.. I do plan on building a second box ( and/or a bigger one ) so I can have a few more plants going at once, but for now- heres what i got going on..

Dimensions : 3ft by 2ft grow cabinet

lights: CFL's .. plan on adding L.E.D's

soil : foxfarm ocean forest

ventilation: (2) computer fans -intake/exhaust .. plan on adding duct fan and carbon filter

strains : 1 FEM White Widow .. 1 FEM Purple Haze.. plan on taking clones and ordering more seeds

still in the beginning stages of my grow but i will be updating with pictures as I go along..

beans just arrived.. germinating both the seeds and also a freebie they sent me ( AUTOMATIC ULTRAVIOLET )

Good to hear hope you get to see them pop soon and then sprout out in the soil. Once that is over, I feel I enjoy it so much more starting to see it come from a little bitch sprout to a massive mother of my medicine.

alright so the beans are planted under a 26watt 5000k CFL .. White Widow is about to pop threw soil and it hasent even been 24 hours.. bought a new light fixture will have that installed within the next few days

all 3 seeds popped soil..everything is moving along nicely.. question.. When is a good time to transplant the AUTOflower? and how big of a pot should I use? Ive never grown an AUTO.

Autos don't like transplants.. I'd transplant as soon as I can after the seedlings get a bit stronger, or if you like adventures, transplant them right now if you can do it without hurting them.. kinda risky though. I would go with as big as I can considering space limitations.

My advice is next time start the Autos in their final pot.

I agree with avrum about autos and transplants. Since an auto is on a time schedule anyway anything that delays that schedule like shock from transplanting or topping is a bad thing IMO. Just cut the cup now down one side and you should be able to take the whole thing in one mass and put it in the final pot now.

built a new light fixture. using shoe string to hold it up for now i have chains just need to cut them.. all 3 seeds are doing great! they are loving the foxfarm soil as always.. Temps are at a steady 70-74* .. Going to add another 26watt bulb once they get a little bigger.. still need to transplant the autoflower. was going to buy a 2 gallon bucket for it, but i want to conserve space and use a square pot instead of a round one.. you guys think a 2 gallon bucket will be big enough for an autoflower?? and is my cab even big enough for an auto?? any input is appreciated.. thanks! :leaf:

transplated the ultraviolet Auto into a 2 gallon bucket..takes up alot of space in the cab, but whatta u gonna do?.. Also bought a timer and a master lock while at the hardware store.. :joint:

Plants have been getting 24 hrs light since they were planted.. 18/6 cycle starts tonight .. bedtime at midnight!

the plants are all looking healthy.. all 3 of them are growing their second set of leaves.. im a little skeptical about the autoflower.. the pot is a little big.. I should have transplanted into a square pot taller instead of wide.. should I transplant again? what do you guys think? I just don't see there bein much more room for 2 plants.any suggestions?

WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT THE AUTO? TRANSPLANT INTO SMALLER CONTAINER OR LEAVE IT ALONE?

Also, your attic seems pretty nice idea!! But you have to repair everything in there and then measure temps and humidity before you begin something for sure!!

thanks boys.. gonna leave the auto in its 2 gallon pot.. plants are all looking great..growth is starting to really pick up.. temps at a steady 75-80* with humidity at 20% .. currently have (3) 26watt cfl's total of 78 watts

Heres a couple pictures of my new project.. 3 bottom drawers are going to be flowering chamber and top 2 for veg.. I traded my AUTOflower plant for a FEMINIZED Blackberry seed.. Did so because i grew this strain out last grow and loved it, and having an AUTO with my fems made shit complicated.. So I'm gonna germinate the new bean tonight.. Transplanted the Purple Haze and White Widow into 2gallon buckets.. they are both looking mighty fine!
