I'm actually surprised that nobody leaked the "rumor" before this point honestly. Sounds like they've had him for a week+
 
Trillions of dollars spent, over a decade of war, two countries decimated, thousands upon thousands of innocent civilians killed, an economy in collapse, was it worth it?

Two concerns here:


  1. Pakistan was harboring Bin Ladin
  2. Bin Ladin is now a martyr for Islam
This ain't over by a long shot.

1a. What did we give Pakistan for them to give him up?
 
i wonder how the republicans will try to use this to make obama look bad?

and i also wonder if obama released his long form right after he got word of the death (it happened last week, right?)

We also need to watch for the reorganization of our CIA and the Pakistan intelligence services.
We still have a rift there.
I assume this is not a gaff for us in that we bagged the bad guy but sets fire to the situation.

Now that there is such TV and party like "War is Over" we must also consider the Solace effect.

Will people believe the war is over? Will they believe war is over?

Our President has said it is a closing of a Chapter so I assume the story isn't over.
