Has anyone heard of using Ortho Bug-B-Gon MAX Lawn and Garden Insect Killer? Its rated as one of the top bug killers and i have thousands of ants making a home in the 5gal. pot my plant is in and im thinking about using this aswell as spraying the plant down even though its in flowering....

Lowes aswell as Ortho says that its safe to spray directly on fruites and veggies so im guessing its fine on cannabis right?

Hope somebody could give me some input, thanks!

I don't use anything on my plants that cant be used on fruits or vegs. Shit that's made for outside or the lawn is usually pretty toxic. Even some of the products that are made for fruits and vegs I don't put on my plants, because even some of those sprays are to toxic. I start out with weak stuff like insecticidal soaps etc... first. If that doesn't help with the bug problem I step it up to something like Neem Oil. If that doesn't help with the bugs then I mix up my Spectracide Malathion Concentrate in to my 1 gallon sprayer and use that, but I only use malathion as my last resort, even though its made to be sprayed on vegetables etc.. its still very very toxic stuff. Also if your having a bug problem I was recently told to use Hot Shot No Pest Strips, so I went out and got two of them a few weeks back to try and hung them up. 5 days after I hung them up I didnt have any gnats which where quite bad and it seemed to even take care of my spider mite problem too, they also kill anything else that crawls or flys and they work for up to 4 months. Im going to leave my strips in for one more week then im going to take them out and seal them back up until I can see if any of those pests come back.
