Organized government is no better than organized crime.

Two countries going at it are fundamentally no different than two gangs going at it. The countries government's obviously have more education and resources than an organized neighborhood gang would ... but the drive to fight and kill, and the reasoning for it is the same with both factions.

Gangs are territorial. Coutries/governments are territorial.

Gangs fight for their territory. Countries/government's fight for their territory.

(People say) army's exist for our safety because if we didn't have defense than we would get invaded by other countries.

Well, gangs exist for a certain neighborhood's security because if they didn't have defense they're hood would get invaded by other gangs.

Army's have hierarchy's. Gangs have hierarchy's

Gangs recruit poor people. Army's recruit poor people.

Government's tell their people that they are noble and the enemy is evil Gangs don't have that delusion, everyone already knows that it's all about money. Nobody needs to be sold propaganda, they already want to kill. They don't need to be persuaded.

The government must persuade their people. That's the difference, delusion.

You get my logic here?

you can make the gang comparison to cops to.They are just one gang.Same clothes, same guns, they all have radios and computers hooked up to each other. They are gang members if you ask me

The first police force in the US came from the fall out of gang warfare. The gang that won (in New York) became the police.

We're a tribal species. Gangs, nations, opera troupes ... difference is same. At least the opera singers get to die beautifully and repeatedly. cn

Keep on coming down the rabbit hole my friend, it goes much deeper :)

Is it any different with religions? or any long lived group at all? The question I have is.... so what?

To me the "so what" is that it puts paid to utopian visions of people gravitating toward peaceful, prosperous and largely frictionless communities. Fwiw. cn

The "so what" is that we shouldn't put so much of our damn trust in the current structure of government. It's just another gang. We are the foot soldiers, except the difference is that the government has the education and resources to deceive their foot soldiers into not even knowing what the fuck they're country....or "gang" is actually involved with.

They tell brothas in gangs that you got to live life for yourself, independently with no attachment to a gang...it gets you nowhere

are patriots any different?.......

It is not much different, but here is the kicker, government is more morally corrupt than mobs or religion because they aren't accountable for their actions, what makes this especially corrupt particularity is that they hold us accountable for moral rules which they are not accountable for, government is a religion or mobs end game, it is the pinnacle of their success as seen by evil and it what they all aspire to be. Every evil persons wet dream consists of getting away with their evil deeds, thus evil people gravitate toward government as naturally as fish toward water. Religions become governments, Mobs become governments, never vice versa.

There you have it folks, the entity responsible for more death, impoverishment, enslavement, and violations of human rights ever known to man in our history on the earth. Evil incarnate. Now you fucking dummies want to give them a monopoly on guns!

Well, the way I would say it is, govt is the only alternative to warlord. And what is warlord? Organized crime. So, all are forms of organized crime. All forms are bloody, except the rule of Law which seeks to minimize the blood, but, not necessarily, the organized govt crime.

Governments have taken on the salient characteristics of both mobs and religious hierarchies. It goes both ways. The common denominator for corruption is power. Without power, corruption loses its point, since corruption is really just the distribution of power through officially forbidden or frowned-upon channels. cn

Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The government has, is and will be corrupt and that is never going to change. Left, Right, or straight center, they are all corrupt to the point of no return.
