And that tax money goes towards healthcare for people who get sick. Drinking in public is a finable offence, not banned. If people want to drink at home or the bar thats fine. Part of those taxes go to healthcare as well. Thats also what the exise tax on cannabis will go towards. You can't have it both ways with no regard for others in society. The taxes are the price to pay for socialized healthcare.

Once u walk into an airport in Canada , there is no where to smoke,
Some public parks are being labeled as smoke free, no smoking in pubs, no smoking inside anywhere, your not allowed to smoke in your own car if a minor is with you.
I live in my own little bubble , that not much gets to me , I don’t care about the butts on the ground, I don’t notice them, gum will piss me off tho. Try finding gum in Singapore , I dare you to spit it on the ground there.

I was a smoker for yrs , then read a book n stopped. Now I’ll mix it with hash when I feel like a pure hash joint but I don’t remember the last cigarette I smoked .
It would cut into my bud smoking , probably smoke a pack of them a day .

Yea, they all hang out side at the doors....Like they hang outside office buildings. Its still public areas.
I aslo don't remember the last cig I smoked and I dab my hash so no need for cigs.
I live on a small island, any litter gives me the shits. Walk past a pub on a Saturday or Sunday and the outside pavement is littered with butts as smoking inside is banned.

Well apparently the competition doesn't feel the same way.
Maybe if the gov didn't try to make all their money off one smoker, they'd sell more. If they tried to make a fair markup the price might actually be more fair. People would buy it if it wasn't so far apart from the native brands.
