Organic Spidermite Battle

I have noticed the signs of spidermites in my veg tent and I have applied the first treatment of neem oil. I also sprinkled Dicatemous Earth on top of the soil mostly around the base of the stalk. I applied this in order to deal with the any eggs that may be being laid at the base of the stalk. I mixed my neem oil with organic coconut based dish soap and applied it thoroughly to the underneath of the leaf of the entire tent as the top of the leaves so they have nowhere to go. I also raised my humidity and turned up my oscilating fan so that they can't keep a hold on my girls.

I have been thinking about using cinnamon oil as well does anyone have experience with using it? Or does anyone have anymore ORGANIC advise?

Thanks:leaf:

Yah you dilute it with water then a some sort of saturator or penetrator like wet betty or if you are cheap dish soap.

Cinnamon oil, like ed's thing, has burned the crap out of my plants so be careful. I am a long time organics guy, but when it comes to mites i either fight with chem or pull the garden, bomb with chem, and restart. sorry, not what you wanted to hear i'm sure.

I've hear good things about lavender oil and rosemary oil, but again the mites here are nearly impossible to kill without burning the plants to shite. IMO most common Cannabis pests are becoming resistant to neem and this has spurred the azadachtrin or azamax products.

If they do not respond to strong neem/azamax/other oils you may be effed. can you start fresh, that is the best way to deal with mites. Or if you need to save a mommy you may have to take a couple cuts and dip them. The thing about mites is they lay eggs everywhere, so dealing with big plants and mites is nearly impossible. And these eggs can last for a long time, we don't really know. They are not insects, but arachnids, and this is essence means they are way more resistant that other pests. Sorry for the negative. I used a bomb followed by pyrethrin sprays for two weeks, I thought i was in the clear. 6 weeks later the plants are big and I have an explosion... bad. Pulled the garden, bombed, restart, dip and spray like a maniac. Best way to deal with mites.

I have pretty much eliminated the issue just sprayed it with chili and peppermint foliar spray. Used dried chilis from the garden and peppermint extract on top of the neem oil and DE. I am going to use an insectidal soap as well just to make sure, but the problem seems to be pretty much eliminated :)
