Organic Nutrient choices

I have used BioBizz and heard of people using FoxFarm products but have had no experience with them.. What other Organic products are out there or is worth sticking with just these 2 companies?

As I haven't used FoxFarm before would anyone out there recommend them to BioBizz?

Fox Farm is great I love their soil but for my organic nutes I use Advanced Nutrients Iguana Juice, Nirvana, Wet Betty Organic, and Bud Factor X. This combination has been treating me really well. Hope this helps.

Some of the best organic fertilizers include Worm Castings (little N, Mg & other micros); Bat & Seabird Guanos (N, P & micros); Blood (N, Fe, Ca & other micros) Bone (P, Ca, other micros) and Kelp Meals (little N, K & micros); Maxicrop & other seaweed fertilizers (1-0-4); Fish Emulsion/Hydrolyzed Fish (N & a little of everything) and Palm Bunch Ash (0-0-30).

These are all great fertilizers for sure, much better than most FF stuff, you could also add alfalfa meal and soft rock phosphate to that.

Earth Juice is pretty good also! so is Roots Organic

I didn't even realise AN made Organic products?! I used some of their "Bud Blood" before which I rate highly. I was considering going for AN (non-organic) this time round but will I get better results than with BioBizz?

I have heard of people using these and a friend of a friend grew an absolute monster using some of these so very interesting! Are they from a specific manufacturer or just garden centre products?

I take it BioBizz would be more highly rated than FF? Are the alfalfa meal and soft rock phosphate made by anyone in particular and what do they do?

I used Leaf coat & Biogrow in veg, Biobloom and Topmax for flowering and AN Budblood the first week of flowering. I have heard Bioheaven is worth using too?

If I were to go for AN or another company would I need to introduce anything else to the feeding process?

I've recently been at a gathering where several of us brought out some recently harvested buds....2 of'em had nugs of two different strains grown with advanced nutrients....theri buds tasted like dirt, smelled like dirt ....but was some good head candy. Others buds that used organics, smelled and tasted great......we all just believe proper flushing wasn't done with the AN.............I think I'll stick to bio-bizz org.....

Mother's Finest and I are coming from a different perspective, those are not actually brands they are fertilizers that amend the soil, and are made by many companies, FF makes them too. Personally, I use Rabbit Hill Farm nonsolubles (kelp and alfalfa meal, and soft rock phosphate)... They are rated with different NPK values, for instance the kelp meal is 2-0-5, and the soft rock phosphate is 0-3-0...

Although, if you are looking specifically for soluble nutrients, I have used most of FF line, and they work, but they aren't organic, they organic based... I know some gardeners who use biobizz and that works well also. Maybe try Canna and their bio line in particular.

I also wouldn't recommend AN, they are a shit company imo.

You can also make great teas with kelp, alfalfa, stuff like that... maxicrop seaweed is also something I use, and I truly love it.

Well a few people have answered the question already, but most of them are just types of fertilizer that are manufactured by many different brands. Maxicrop is its own brand, though. The Palm Bunch Ash can be found here: http://www.planetnatural.com/site/organic-potash.html and isn't quite as mainstream as most of the other ferts listed. The Maxicrop soluble powder can be ordered online, is lightweight to ship and lasts a long time. It's also found at many hydro stores and a few garden centers. Everything else is pretty common.

Exactly what mother's said. Even if I'm too lazy to type it all out. I use Aggrand, basically everything listed above in a 4 part lineup at roughly $10 a bottle I get a little cheaper because I know a dealer =D

"100% Organic" is for product labels and legal guidelines that specify what can be called "Organic." There are Fish ferts and other types of fertilizers that can't be called organic only because a chemical that doesn't affect the plants is added to mask the smell. Whenever there's a reason that an otherwise natural product can't legally be called organic, it's definately a good idea to find out why before using it. It quite often turns out to be some mundane legal loophole that won't change the fert's effectiveness.

Fox Farm liquid fertilizers such as Tiger Bloom and Grow Big are not fully organic as both contain synthetic salts and chelates. Big Bloom is organic, and other than that Fox Farm does have a bunch of organic/all natural products (the Peace of Mind) line. These are dry fertilizers enhanced with microbes, they may have various organic ingredients or just be something like bat guano or soft rock phosphate.

Earth Juice is a decent, affordable line of organic liquid fertilizers although the Grow tends to run quite thick.

You could start with a quality soil mix such as Ocean Forest and simply utilize a handful of choice organic amendments such as earthworm castings, bat & seabird guano, kelp and blackstrap molasses from the grocery store. You can use these ingredients for tea brewing, top dress or mix with water to fertilize. No matter what amendments or brand of organic fertilizer you use, you'll need some dolomite lime which raises soil pH to where we want it to be and provides the plant Ca and Mg.

Fox Farms Peace of Mind is a great dry mix fertilizer . It's covers everthing from bat guano to beneficials. I'm using it in my supersoil for a base fertilizer. Dry mixes aren't for everybody seems you like liquids . For liquid organic I use Age OLd Organics Grow and BLoom .They are not canna based and are backed with years of commercial organic experiance .

bud factor x and bud ignitor are not organic bro

AN seem ott by the looks of how many different products they have, i'm probably going to keep it simple with the BioBizz range I used previously (Leafcoat & BioGrow in veg, BioBloom & Topmax for flowering). I may also try BioHeaven and see if this product is worth using..

I used Biobizz Light mix as I wanted to control the application of nutrients, I will stick with this again unless there is a better base organic soil on the market. Cheers for the input guys!

Bio-Bizz has been a very good addition to my grows and has proven itself to me in simplicity, costs, and effectiveness. But the damn FISH MIX stinks BAD....but my plants LOVE it! I use Humboldt Organic (nuteless) soil and start with nutes around 2-3 weeks.....

Same as me mate, from 2 - 3 weeks in I build up the dose..

What do you use the Fish Mix for and what have its benefits been? I also saw Alg-a-mix in their range but wasn't sure if this would improve my grows.

Is Humboldt Organic available in the UK? Do you know if it is worth using over the BioBizz Lightmix Organic option?
