Organic Bio tea.

Simple AACT bio tea.

I like this one to 5 gallons of puddle, pond, river or creek/stream water.

1C cup of EWC
3-4 TBL molasses (I use a sweet bakers molasses that I get from the local restaurant supply company, in 1 gallon jugs for FAR less $ then little jars in stores.)
1/4 cup composted steer/cow manure (this adds to the bio spectrum)

SKIP THE KELP MEAL!

So many people call for using Kelp meal. A good friend at Vortex has done extensive testing and found that kelp meal will reduce the end living bio counts by as much as 40-45%!

I tried his test's and found an average loss of 40%

If you need to use kelp in the mix. Add it in the form of an extract after you brew it...

Sometimes I want a little N for late run Sativa's
I'll add Alfalfa meal from Dr. Earth to the mix in a 1/3 cup amount and brew.

Be sure your using enough air and run for 36 hrs.

18 hrs and you can strain it and use it for PM control

12 hrs for a fungal tea only

Another note is that I don't use a bag in my tea brewing. Even when I did it in buckets (Use a home made vortex style brewer).....Just pour the "mud" in the pots too.

Shit dude. Just missed your post. But I’ve coincidentally gone a similar route. Just finished it 30 mins ago.

Recipe went like this - all organic.

1 gal of rain water. (Only 2 small plants)
2-3tbsp of EWC
1 tsp of Fish Extract
Just under a tsp of seaweed extract
1/2tbsp of molasses
1-2tbsp of volcanic rock dust
Tiny pinch of Soil Balance Pro. I know it’s ironic because it has what I’m making. But I had it sitting their doing no use so figured it couldn’t hurt.

Again, decided I would brew for 36hrs as I’m going away for a couple of days. Funny that.

Thanks again bud! If this doesn’t work I’ll try your method.

Well been 18hrs and it smells like sweet earthy black tea? Nice thick foam as well. So far so good I guess

Skip the Basalt powder.. (Volcanic rock dust) NO need! Trust me here. NO way you need to add any more micro minerals and especially that often. I only re amend my soils for mineral content - once a year. Those soils are re-used like 4 times a year......Any kelp use will give you plenty to carry you along.

Nice to know! They are potted in simply organic peat/worm castings so not exactly a complete soil. So figured a bit can’t hurt but nice to hear it’s not essential!

Smelt like kinda old socks but poured it over the plants today and back in a couple of days to check progress :)

Any effect will take 5-7 days or so to begin to show in new growth

Interesting. Will they are 2-3rd week of flower. Small Durban Poison autos grown at 55’ North outside. Just an experiment. Breeder says 11-13weeks so they have 4-6 left.

Hopefully they can put it to some use with the bud development.

Had a slight N deficiency but nipped that in the bud so to speak with a simple Epsom salt solution. As I believe Mg stimulates N uptake. It worked.

Just nice to grow plants without bottles of overpriced shit and in turn see better results, beautiful smell too! One smells like sour tropical fruit yogurt!

Hope they smoke as good as they look/smell.

Just need to dial in my drying method. Been reading about cool slow dry. Any methods I recommended? Saw one which recommended 60@60 for a week or so.
