My Father inlaw grew up in Coo's Bay, same time that runner did, umm Pre I think was his name.

How much does it cost to live there? I want to move to Oregon but I'm afraid it might cost too much. Also I heard the Univeristy of Oregon has a good horticultural department.

I can tell you this, its alot cheaper than Wa. state. Plus no sales taxes. Houseing is affordable, health care is a hot job too.

i've been in eugene for 5 months now! just joined the site, but i've been trolling it for a while. i moved from OC (oregon city, not orange county asses) and i don't really like the town. it's really really .......... white

you either got your white hippies, your white homeless, or your rich white republicans. then the college kids (but they don't really count as residents imo). just a real strange vibe to the whole thing.

anyway, welcome to eugene?

wow i was trying to seem friendlier than this ... wtf happened

btw, are you a grower?

I live in Nehalem...coast...It is very exspensive to live here....no sales tax but the cost is higher then if you were in a state that had sales tax....i live where there was sales tax and it was alot cheaper...but i love the beach and would live no were else.....

Welcome from the Aloha area.I am near the portland area and I do gotta say I like it here in oregon alot more than Ca. which is where I am from.I am a newbie here myself to this site and to growing.
