Uh, I'm not correcting spelling I literally could not tell what he was saying based on that incoherent sentence. Just stating a fact and giving some advice, take it or leave it (I even responded in kind with the full situation). If you can make sense of what he is trying to contribute or tell me by quoting me with "so within 24 hr u went from no rot to a emergency but our other 12 r solid WOW good luck bro", please enlighten me. Calling others children by the way is much more childish (shrouded by a facade of being the adult moderator) than saying a sentence is incoherent lol, the hypocrisy.
He left out a y and a few commas. Seemed pretty easy to me. I think you just took offense to his statement, as if he was calling your bluff on your statement. Which is way the hair trigger on grammar.

@23, you’re right man, my bad for saying something. Just been a good thread so far and tryna shine a light on the situation. I like reading about herb.

Yes, early rot can develop within 24 hours lol. We had over 1.5 inches of rain in the last 2 or so days (plus over another inch the two days prior to that), when you get that much water it can puddle and cause rot very quickly which is why it is advised to monitor your plants at least every 8 hours if possible during heavy dew periods in late flower. So yes, the situation changed and when you see rot you chop, it will only get worse from there. Just some advice, next time put together a coherent sentence.
I can tell you this, I've been growing outside in Or for a bit. I've lost lbs to PM and botrytis .If you don't see it one day and it's there the next, you missed it.
This will be the first sign you will see and it's easy to miss, didn't get there over night.10-17-15 (33).JPG
You must be new around here, cause we all know @thumper60 uses short hand.
Good luck with your plants, it's a battle for us all here at closing time.

I agree, that's why I was checking my plants every 8 hours for any signs of early rot as it can develop well within 24 hours. I found it and chopped the two plants as soon as I saw it, which happened to be at night during my last check and in the rain (after my post that everything was looking good). Probably lost 1 oz of weight out of 3 lbs.

Harvested my 2 outdoor plants! Cannatonic and DJ Short Blueberry! Both had the start of teh inevitable brown rot at the tops of some colas and even in some lower LARF!

Found a couple bud worms too while trimming my Blueberry! Trashed quit a bit of Blueberry due to rot and worms. Tho I am picky, ANY sign of mold, rot or worms and I trash it!

I have enough clean flower drying now for the effort tho!

Were they trichome ready or was it rot fatigue that made you pull them?

Lemon venom has been coming down since Friday. I decided to stagger some of the chop this season. Found less than a handful of questionable bud. chucked any that even looked iffy. Gooey bud and enormous yield. dried a few small buds a few weeks ago to taste, very strong buzz, super lemon taste.
The Tangerine dream, purple paralysis and pineapple chunk still have a ways to go.

Gorgeous flowers ktmac20! Just harvested the babies from the dep through the night, got a little nervous when I heard the fog was coming in this morning. Only found a couple pieces of rot so far! Happy harvest!

I'm happy to see my Oregon brothers harvesting some good fucking dope
Long winded reply here...
Hell yeah man..better weather than most years we've seen, lot of Oregonians killing it.
Taking down the last of the raised bed plants today.
The GH is chugging right along, this will be my healthiest fall harvest to date. Lots of sun the last couple weeks, least amount of rot and pm I've seen.
Cannaventures plants have really shined for me.

Grape Ape...this one was showing some rot so it came down a bit early_DSC3914-crop.JPG _DSC4080.JPG

Gonna have some potent smoke and some excellent meds to indulge in this coming year.
The real work has just started.._DSC4664.JPG
Wife asked me yesterday when she could put her car back in the garage.
I said this is 2 plants and I have 5 more to go...
...sigh..silence...dammit whatever.
She doesn't partake in my pleasures of the plant.
She still loves me, even though she's jealous of the girls....I think
